The countdown is on—AIA Boston 2025 is right around the corner, and I couldn’t be more excited. This year, I’m heading to the national conference not just as a visitor, but as a host, a creator, and an advocate for better construction administration in architecture.
If you’re new here, I’m Matt Brennan, Assoc. AIA, and I host What the RFI, a podcast that dives into the realities of Contract and Construction Administration from the architect’s seat at the table. With over two decades in the AEC industry, I’ve seen firsthand how complex and messy CA can get—and I’ve made it my mission to talk about it.

Connecting with You at AIA25
AIA25 is more than just another conference—it’s a chance to connect with the incredible community that keeps this industry moving. I’ll be walking the floor, mic in hand, ready to chat with architects, consultants, and anyone else willing to share their thoughts on the ever-evolving challenges we all face in construction. If you’re attending, let’s make it a point to meet. I want to hear about what’s working, what’s not, and how you’re adapting to this new wave of AI, tech, and tightening project budgets.
And yes—I’ll have my podcast gear ready for live interviews. If you’ve got a story to tell or insight to share, let’s get you on the mic. 🎙️
Come Find Me at the Part3 Booth
One of my key stops at AIA25 will be the Part3 booth. If you’ve listened to the podcast before, you know I’m a fan of tools that actually make an architect’s life easier—and Part3 is one of them. Designed by architects for architects, their CAI (Construction Administration Intelligence) platform is changing the way we handle RFIs, submittals, field reports, and more.
If you’re looking for real-world solutions to construction phase headaches, this is the booth to visit. I’ll be hanging out there throughout the event, so it’s also a great place to track me down and say hi.

Let’s Talk Tech, AI, and Real-World Site Stories
One of the biggest things I want to explore at AIA25 is how firms are actually using AI on-site and in the field. Are you deploying it in punch walks? Automating spec cross-referencing? Using it to flag risk in RFIs before they hit your inbox? I want to hear about it. The podcast is all about real challenges and practical tools, and there’s no better place to uncover those stories than in the aisles and sessions of AIA Boston.
Thank You for Supporting the Show
Finally, I just want to say thank you! What the RFI started as a passion project, and the support from listeners like you is what keeps it growing. Every download, comment, and DM helps shape what the show becomes—and being able to take it on the road to events like AIA25 is an incredible opportunity.
If you’ll be at AIA Boston this year, reach out. Let’s connect, record something, or just grab a coffee and talk shop. Follow along on social media for updates on where I’ll be and when you can catch me live.
See you in Boston!!!
