About the Podcast
Matt has been in the industry for over two decades, 22 years to be exact; He has seen it all. From an early adopter of Architectural Desktop to becoming a lead implementer for Revit, Matt has been a leader of change. He has seen and watched how the industry has shifted and grown. Throughout his design journey, 15 years have had him focusing on Contract Administration on various projects.
Matt has thoroughly enjoyed working on high-profile projects such as K-12 institutions, signature high-rises, milestone hotels, performing art theatres, and multimillion-dollar homes that are featured yearly in “Vancouver BC - Top Most Expense Houses” articles.
In keeping his skills fresh, Matt has also had his thumbprints in the media and film sector. With each project, a story would need to be told. For Matt, he wanted to share this story in a way that anyone who could not read drawings and plans could relate to. Rather than just rendering a project, he would be responsible for coordinating rendering shots, which would ultimately be composed into a short cinematic film that would be presented to the public.
With technology advancing so fast, Matt is excited to see where the Architectural industry is headed.
While not recording his podcast, Matt continues to explore the outdoors. Through overlanding, canoeing, paddle boarding, hiking, travel, you name it!
Can you keep up Matt?
