Construction Occupancy Inspection: How to Prepare

How do you prepare a construction project for an occupancy inspection and get an occupancy permit?

Getting a building ready for occupancy takes much more than finishing construction. Contractors, architects, engineers and owners need to coordinate testing, Letters of Assurance, fire alarm verification, consultant field reviews and documentation well before the final inspection.

In Episode 47 of What the RFI?, Matt Brennan walks through the construction occupancy process and explains what should be happening months before the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) arrives on site.
