David is the Principal Architect at Longpre Architecture, a Vancouver-based firm specializing in residential, institutional, and commercial projects. He is passionate about creating innovative and sustainable designs that enhance the well-being of occupants and the human experience. David holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Calgary, where hehe developed a global perspective and a deep appreciation for architecture's cultural and environmental context.
Inspired by the Japanese concept of "kami," he views architecture as "Vessels for the Soul," using authentic materials and advanced techniques to harmonize with the surroundings and the community. David has successfully managed and delivered multiple projects, ranging from character house conversions and laneway homes to educational and cultural facilities, always with the goal of contributing to a vibrant future. David is also currently serving as a member of the Heritage Advisory Commission for the City of North Vancouver.
