With over 26 years in the steel industry, Adam Williams is the Lead Detailer, Checker, and Trainer at Affton Fabricating and Welding Company, Inc., in St. Louis, Missouri.
Before joining Affton, Adam spent seven years as a Detailing Manager, Checker, and Trainer at Nix Industries/Superior Fabrication in Rockport, Indiana. He also worked at Skanska in Evansville, Indiana, for two years and dedicated 15 years to Wilkie Structural Engineering in Evansville. Additionally, he spent two years at Pittsburg Tank and Tower in Henderson, Kentucky, as a Ground Storage Tank Designer.
Adam is an active member of the National Institute for Steel Detailing (NISD) and currently serves on the Marketing team.
Passionate about steel detailing and detailing software, Adam is dedicated to sharing his expertise while continuously expanding his own knowledge.
