Akhil Hemanth is an Architectural Designer at Newcomb & Boyd, where he also serves as an AI Technology Architect, leading the firm's adoption of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in the AEC industry. With a Master’s degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Akhil blends design expertise with a deep command of computational tools, including Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, Python, Dynamo, and Stable Diffusion.
Akhil has become a sought-after speaker at conferences such as AIA Aspire, where he has presented on AI in AEC (2023) and the role of technology in pushing design innovation (2024). His work and perspectives have been featured in Architect Magazine, Atlanta Business Chronicle, and VoyageATL.
Passionate about community and knowledge-sharing, Akhil chairs Aspire’s Continuing Education Board and is known for his ability to translate complex technological shifts into practical strategies for architects, engineers, and designers.
